Sub-Lingual Tablet is easily The Fall's best post-YFOC album (although, in truth, that could read like very faint praise) - it rattles along, has one moment of true greatness (the edgy post-punk of "Dedication, Not Medication"), several stretches of quite goodness ("Venice With the Girls" with its jerky swagger, the White Fencey "Black Roof" and the open-ended Krautstomp of "Auto Chip "), but .
